Umbrus: the Roleplaying Game

Umbrus is a tabletop roleplaying game that focuses on deep character customization. By using a modular set of customization options and skill/spell agnostic classes, Umbrus allows you to have some of the greatest gameplay-to-roleplay fidelity of any system on the market. Umbrus embraces the creativity of roleplaying and affords its players a high degree of freedom on how they create their characters and engage with the world, as well as providing characters with opportunities and room to grow and change beyond character creation.

The world in which Umbrus provides a lens is a rich and mysterious one. The jewel of the goddess Aluna's home, Elarinos was created by her twin daughters Terana and Dreya. What started as a children's spat flooded across the world as their creations began a bloody dawning war. Ultimately stopped by their mother, peace and stability was brought to this budding sphere. But bitterness grew in the heart of a lone dragon, who couldn't bear to see the wounds of his people be brushed aside into the past. This dragon's actions caused this little glimmering marble to be caught in the vision of the Umbrus, and life would never be the same for the denizens of the continent of Dresdius.

Customize your character in an unprecedented level of freedom, from your gear to your class; from what skills you know to what spells you know; from your heritage to your culture. All of these options are permutable and interchangeable to create the exact character you want to play.

Umbrus is currently in the final stages of development, but can be purchased and fully played now, at a reduced price than intended for when it fully launches.
